Cristina Cazorla
Cristina Cazorla’s "Danzas Solemnes" represents the essence of the Spanish Escuela Bolera classical dance style.
Danzas Solemnes
Cristina Cazorla returns to the roots of Spanish dance to create ‘Danzas Solemnes’ (‘Solemn Dances’), a show dedicated to the beauty, aesthetics, technique, and essence of the Escuela Bolera and Spanish Dance.
“Danzas solemnes” (“Solemn Dances”) explores a series of scenes inspired by Spanish tradition, defined by classical and academic technical and stylistic lines. It features landscapes such as the elegance of Aranjuez, the Sabatini Gardens, and the Royal Palace of Madrid, and southern Spain as the essence of our character. It is this symbiosis of cultures, from the utmost solemnity to the strongest temperament, that defines ‘Danzas solemnes’ and, consequently, the characteristics of our cultural identity.
